DIY Christianity

We totally understand the meaning of DIY-our culture is the epitome of DIY. If you want something done, you DO IT YOURSELF. If you don't know how to do it, you look it up on YouTube or on the internet and you get it done. But how many times do we get to the middle of our projects or look at the final product and say "this didn't turn out at all like I was hoping". What is interesting is that I think that is exactly what is happening when it comes to our Christian lives. We are working so hard to be the best Christian we know, following all the right rules, watching all the right people and we are still missing the mark.
